Where is the gelatin derived from?

• According to the manufacturer, the gelatin is bovine derived.

Does this contain 1.5 mg total or 1.5 immediate and 1.5 extended? Another site showed .75 immediate and .75 extended for a total of 1.5 mg. I have been using 2 per night as I was previously using 3 mg.

• Each capsule provides 1.5 mg of total melatonin. The MicroActive Melatonin offers a 50/50 blend of immediate and extended-release melatonin. Meaning, each capsule provides .75 mg of immediate release melatonin and .75 mg of extended-release melatonin.
